  • Number of headwords (a word placed at the beginning of a dictionary entry or a group of words which share the same basic meaning, for example: helps, helping, helpful, helpless)

  • Vocabulary

  • Sentence length

  • Sentence complexity

  • Number of words on a page

  • Number of pages in a book

  • Complexity of activities

  • Number of hours of English completed by the reader
