Finding
product
Our site is organised by both visitor type (Student, Educator,
or account customer) and by education sector. You can
search for product or you can
browse for product by interest area or a
combination of both.
To search for product, use the search bar at the top right of
each page. You can search for product by title, by author, specific
ISBN or any other key term.
To browse for product, select your visitor type and education
level at the top of the site to go to the relevant categories to
browse.
Further refinements to your search are available once your
search results have been returned. You can access these on the left
hand side of the site.
Purchasing product
Ordering online
Just like shopping in an ordinary bookshop, you can review the
listing of available publications and select items for purchase by
choosing the ADD TO CART button.
Selecting an item will place it in your virtual shopping
cart.
You can use the VIEW CART link at the top of the page to view
shopping cart contents at any time. When in the shopping cart you
can alter the order quantity or remove an item from your cart.
We currently have a limit of 15 individual ISBNs per order
however you are able to order up to 1000 of each ISBN. If more than
15 ISBNs are required an additional order will need to be
submitted. There is no limit on the number of orders placed.

Proceeding to the checkout
Once you have decided on the items you wish to purchase, select
your shopping cart from the top right of the page the select the
CHECKOUT link to proceed with the transaction.
At this stage you will be able to either create your
Personal Profile (first time users only) or log in using your
existing Personal Profile.
You will then be required to fill out your purchase details and
select a method of payment.

Orders from outside Australia
You can not order physical products online from outside

Payment
If you are paying by credit card you must use either Visa,
MasterCard or American Express.
If you don't want to shop online you can still place your order
by downloading the Order Form and sending it to Pearson Australia
with your payment. You can pay by credit card, cheque or money
order (payable to Pearson Australia Group ABN 40 004 245 943).
Digital Products can only be purchased online.
Please note:If you are placing an
order on behalf of an educational institution or business you may

Goods and service tax (GST)
All transactions include GST
Your receipt
Your receipt will document all product and applicable delivery
charges. It will state that you have prepaid your order by credit
card. Your credit card will not be billed until the product is
shipped to you.
Physical products (e.g. text books): A
tax invoice is packed with your order.
Digital products (e.g. digital access
codes): Soon after placing your order you will
receive a Tax Invoice by email.
Physical and digital products: If you have
purchased a combination of physical and digital products you will
receive an email receipt for the digital products, and a second
receipt for the physical products which will be packed with your
order.

Returns
Substitution
Occasionally the version of a product you have ordered will not
be available. If this occurs Pearson may substitute your order with
a similar product that will have an alternate ISBN (International
Standard Book Number).
Pearson Australia guarantees your complete satisfaction with
every purchase. If you are not entirely satisfied with any product
you can return it in original condition within 30 days for a full
refund (less freight).

Returns Authorisation Note.
Please note:Digital products including
ebooks and Access Codes, Videos and opened software cannot be
returned.

Out of stock orders
If one of your selections is not currently in stock, we will
ship your order as soon as it is available.
- If you order multiple products and an item is out of stock, the
in stock items will be shipped straight away and the remaining
items will follow once they are in stock.
- You can always cancel your order while you are waiting for your
back order to come into stock. Simply email your request by clicking here. Please be sure to include
your order number with your request.
