Pearson Australia receive another 3 awards at EPAA 2016

The Education Publishing Awards Australia (EPAA) are an annual event run by the Australian Publishing Association, dedicated to recognising outstanding and innovative digital and print resources developed for the year.


From a shortlist including four Pearson resources across Primary, Secondary and Higher Education titles, Pearson were delighted to receive three awards and two commendations.


Business Law 9e brings home best in category and outstanding digital resource!


Business Law 9e won in the Tertiary (Wholly Australian) Teaching & Learning Resource category, and was also the Tertiary & Vocational Outstanding Digital Resource category winner.

Judges said:

'The content of this edition is highly engaging for students, demystifying the subject and providing a local context. The text acknowledges the potentially dry nature of the content but brings it to life; for example, the opening sentence, "I don't want to be a lawyer, so why do I need to know anything about the law?" sets the scene, and immediately connects the reader with the topic, Pedagogical features such as the style of presentation of cases, business and risk management tips are effective. The text sets a high standard for online simulation environments and includes valuable digital ancillaries for both instructors and students.

 

The online component of Business Law enables testing, analytics, assignment displays, progress assessment and announcements. The simulations in the MyBusLawLab eText enable students to engage in legal decision-making in a safe and stimulating environment and to understand the ramifications of the decisions they make.'

enVisionMATHS Digital is the best Primary Adaptation in Australia 2016

enVisionMATHS is now a double award winner! Previously winning best Primary Student Resource Mathematics (Numeracy) in 2012, the new digital platform is now also the winner of best Primary Adaptation.
