Quoi de neuf ? is a new national series for secondary French, combining up-to-date and engaging language content with a focus on students' intercultural competence. Ghislaine Barbe, is an Education Consultant, Languages F-12, for the Association of Independent Schools NSW. She has taught French, Japanese and Korean at high school level and was the French Language consultant at the NSW Department of Education. She is a regular speaker at major conferences. The French Government formally recognised Ghislaine’s involvement in the promotion of the French language and culture in Australia by conferring to her the title of Chevalier des Palmes Académiques.
