Race Hate takes a broad-minded look at prejudices that not only affect our lives today, but have also been in place for many hundreds of years. It explores subjects such as: what race is and why it matters; racial violence against individuals and against whole populations; and how people of different races perceive immigration and affirmative action policies.
Voices looks at some of the issues that are most relevant to teenagers today. The series aims to stimulate debate and discussion with a minimum of text and strong illustrations. A key feature is the use of primary-source quotes throughout to explain different viewpoints and to give a global perspective.
