The individual Bug Club Guided Readers have been written by children's authors from Australia, New Zealand and England. Our authors have experience in writing fiction and non-fiction books for both education markets and trade markets. All Guided Readers have been expertly Book Banded by Shirley Bickler and Suzanne Baker, authors of Book Bands for Guided Reading, as well as a current Reading Recovery tutor, based in Melbourne, Victoria, to align the reading levels to Reading Recovery.
