Why are you updating Pearson Places?
We're committed to learning and continuous improvement. So we’re constantly improving and updating our systems and the products we offer to better suit the ever-shifting educational environment.

When is the new site going to be launched?
The update is scheduled to take place at the end of the year, after the school year finishes. And it will be ready to go before you begin your 2019 classes.

What do I need to do to prepare?
Nothing. All active accounts will carry across during the update, with the same usernames and passwords. All existing Reader+ eBooks and Lightbooks will carry across too. Just keep an eye on your inbox for updates from us.

Will the new Pearson Places still run on my school IT network?
We will be keeping the same URL (pearsonplaces.com.au) so if you have been using Pearson Places in 2018, you shouldn’t have any problem. But if you need it, you can click here to download a user-friendly pdf with all system requirements and whitelisting information.

What do I do if I have a problem with the update?
