Home Cooking Skills is an accredited cooking program created by Jamie Oliver especially for schools that is not only fun but easy to teach. Students develop essential skills they need to cook simple, nutritious, affordable food. The program is about real food, for real life and arms students with sensible, practical knowledge they can take into the world and use in their everyday lives. Upon completing 60 hours of official course curriculum students are assessed and awarded a BTEC certificate.

Jamie says: 'Cooking is, without a doubt, one of the most important things a person can ever learn. Once someone has that knowledge, that's it - they're set for life. To study home cooking skills is to learn how to cook great food that tastes amazing, how to save money and, in the long run, how to lead a happier, healthier life.'
