Recognising Educator Excellence - Winner of the 2012 Pearson
ANZAM Management Educator of the Year Award
Pearson Australia is pleased to announce the winner of the 10th
Pearson ANZAM Marketing Educator of the Year Award: Associate
Professor Alan Simon, The University of Western Australia.
The award was presented at the ANZAM conference held in Perth in
early December 2012. The award is presented to the
applicant who is deemed to have best advanced management education
through direct teaching, service and research, and is open to staff
of all levels.
The aim of the award is to encourage and recognise innovative
teaching practices in Management Education at universities in
Australia and New Zealand. In 2003, Pearson Australia, with
the endorsement of the ANZAM Executive, developed an award for
excellence in teaching as a means of recognition and reward for
those displaying innovative approaches to teaching management, and
as a way of furthering our support and partnership with management
academics. The judging panel is selected by the ANZAM
Executive.
