Congratulations to our 2017 winners, the University of Sydney, along with staff members from University of Melbourne and University of New South Wales, who have received a grant of $20,000 for their innovative and inspiring Student Relationship Engagement System.

The Judging Panel was hugely impressed with this teacher-developed, ground-up initiative, and it's impactful use of data in helping teachers connect with and inspire more students more efficiently.

Honourable mentions also went to:

University of Sunshine Coast for their Simulation and Visualisation Initiatives

Western Sydney University for Clara Online

University of Southern Queensland for their GIS Toolkit

We received an unprecedented number of high quality entries this year. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to every single team that entered for the work they do every day to help students make progress in their lives through learning.

We believe in the power of technology to help students achieve their learning goals.

We also believe in the amazing work Australasian educators do everyday to bring to life the potential of digital learning in higher education and tertiary institutions.

That’s why we’re offering $20,000 to the Australasian higher education team, educator or staff member who can best demonstrate the positive impact their technological innovations in the classroom have had on their students.

It's our way of saying thank you, and supporting continued innovation in digital learning.
